Horse Racing results

The history of horse racing in the United States dates back to 1665 with the establishment of Newmarket Racecourse in Salisbury, New York, part of the area now known as Hempstead Plain on Long Island, New York. This first North American racing event was organized by Colonial New York Governor Richard Nicholls. The area is currently occupied by Nassau County, New York, the Greater Westbury area and the City of East Garden.

Horse racing is still a popular sport in the United States.
